Access to the HyperBasis API is governed by these API Terms, in addition to the general Terms of Service. Your use of the API constitutes acceptance of both.
You are issued API keys to authenticate requests. You are solely responsible for safeguarding your API keys. You must not share, publish, or expose your keys. You are responsible for all requests made with your keys. If a key is compromised, notify us immediately.
API access is subject to rate limits based on your subscription tier. Exceeding limits may result in throttling or temporary suspension. We reserve the right to adjust limits.
Access levels, quotas, and features are defined by your subscription plan (e.g., Research, Professional, Enterprise). We may modify plan features with notice.
API subscriptions are billed in advance. Refunds are governed by the plan's stated policy. Unless otherwise specified, fees are non-refundable.
We strive for high availability but provide the API on an "AS AVAILABLE" basis. Except where an explicit Service Level Agreement applies to Enterprise customers, we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability and are not liable for downtime.
We may modify, deprecate, or discontinue API endpoints or features at any time. We will use reasonable efforts to provide notice for material changes.
You must not: (a) use the API to build a competing service; (b) make abusive, excessive, or malicious requests; (c) attempt to bypass rate limits or access controls; (d) use the API for any unlawful purpose.
We may revoke API access at any time for violation of these Terms or non-payment. Upon termination, you must cease all API use.
